Our wine growing regions

Spain is a fascinating country for wine lovers with a dazzling array of unique micro climates, soil types and varietals culminating in sensational, world-class wines. With LA CARMEN range you’ll discover exciting wine regions such as Navarra – known in Spain for its rosés -. Valencia – known for its fresh innovative wines and Requena, home to some of Spain’s most interesting Cavas- and of course Jumilla. 

 

Our varietals

Each varietal La Carmen tells its own unique story and showcases Spanish wine as being anything but stuffy and conventional. Tempranillo, Verdejo, Rosés made from Garnacha or bubbly Moscato and our Best Value Monastrell.

There's a revolution going on around Monastrell, and the region of Murcia is leading the charge. One of the best representatives of the movement comes from Jumilla, in the heart of Murcia: LA CARMEN Monastrell. While many Monastrell's are huge, muscular wines, this one's appeal lies in its juicy fresh fruit meshed with firm tannins that speak well for the wine’s potential complexity."
